There is some good news for buyers in the Atlanta Metro real estate market. According to CoreLogic’s June 24′ report, The Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, GA area is labeled as “Risk of Home Price Decline”. The question is how much and when?
In my opinion, I believe we are going to see more of a stabilization of appreciation rather than a market decline in value. This had to happen eventually. Prices are simply too high in general for buyers and sellers alike. 1st-time buyers not having equity to transfer into the purchase of their 1st homes has left them on the sidelines. And, current homeowners need more and more equity to transfer into their next property to keep the mortgage low enough to afford. Stabilization is a good thing.
